Abraham Lincoln, vampire hunter
As tasteless as it sounds, this actually looks interesting. The comparison of white supremacy to vampirism is apt.

recurring dream
I’ve had recurring dreams before, but lately i’ve had not an entire dream sequence that repeats but only an element of a dream. A building, specifically. The contexts and the stories are always different, but the building itself is the same. Its a big building - very posh. Almost hotel-like. I live in this building in most of the dreams. There are some interesting things about this...

Tea for iPhone: "Tea. Earl Grey. Hot." What Would... →
teaapp: by Samuel Iglesias It has been widely rumored that Siri will be supporting 3rd party apps. Right now most heavy users of Siri have become accustomed to the multitude of apologies and I-don’t-knows that accompany out-there queries. Examples: “What’s the score of the Duke Carolina game?” …

How bad is it? - George Sciallaba →
How to survive our political/social apocalypse. Here’s a taste: “Pretty bad. Here is a sample of factlets from surveys and studies conducted in the past twenty years. Seventy percent of Americans believe in the existence of angels. Fifty percent believe that the earth has been visited by UFOs; in another poll, 70 percent believed that the U.S. government is covering up the presence of...

“Big cities have bustling corridors where saying “hello” would be out of place....”
– One of the few things I love about virginia. People say hello whether they know you or not. It feels nice.  Why You Should Say ‘Hello’ to Strangers on the Street (via theatlantic) Hello everyone! *waves* — Tanya (via npr)
